What I Do

Research

My research in consumer behavior broadly focuses on the concept of the "consumer-self," which encompasses various facets, including consumer beliefs, possessions, attachment styles, and privacy. I conduct surveys and experiments to delve deeper into understanding the consumer-self and to uncover insights that influence our purchasing behavior. By exploring the intricacies of consumer psychology, I aim to understand consumer-self a little bit more every day.

Teaching

I instruct introductory courses in marketing and consumer behavior. In my teaching of "Intro to Marketing", I teach as an economist. Conversely, in "Intro to Consumer Behavior", I teach as a psychologist. Currently, I'm preparing for "Intro to Market Research," with plans to incorporate insights from data science.
